A Shot of Brandy: The Oregon Coast

So we went to the Oregon coast this past weekend and it was AMAZING! It was me, my kids plus my neice Lindsay, Amy and Landon, and my good friend Jenny and her kids...Madison, Tyler and Hailley. We rented a house right on the beach and it was so nice, there was PLENTY of room for all of us! It had a giant kitchen and a game room for the kids plus 3 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! The deck looked out at the beach and there were no people on our beach, it was totally private! The kids had so much fun, they all kept saying " this is the best day of our lives!!!" It was so cute. They played on the beach as us ladies sat and conversated. It was very relaxing. I even made a fire pit for the kids to roast marshmellows. Yes me, I even got the fire going... with a little help of some hairspray..LOL! Our first day we traveled and stopped at the outlets. We got to the beach house around 3 and played on the beach the rest of the day. On Saturday we got up, got all 9 kids ready and headed out to the Ripley's believe it or not and the wax museum. Then we went to the sea gardens and had some lunch. We didnt do to much shopping at that point because the kiddo's were about to have a meltdown from being way too tired so we headed back to the beach house and made dinner and the kids played on the beach and we roasted marshmellows. Sunday we got up, got packed and headed out to our next adventure! The ENCHANTED FOREST! It was so fun! We also snuck in some outlet shopping :-) We got home Sunday around 10:30 PM and let me tell ya, I was pooped! I look at some of the pictures of all of us and yes, we do look crazy! 9 kids and 3 mommies! I know that a man couldnt and wouldnt do this for all the money in the world! I dont know if that makes us women tougher or stupider... either way it was a great trip and I had tons of fun!
